About the Guitar:
This is one of the two 2009 Reverend Reeves Gabrels Signature prototypes. There are two prototype's; a red and a black one. The red one was used and played by Reeves for about 6 months before Reverend finalized the production model. The black remained in the Reverend collection. The production model has fretboard binding which Reeves preferred and switched this one out for a production model. Other things that are different include the 3-way pickup selector is different and this one doesn't have the push-pull phase switch on the tone knob. This makes it unique.
Another unique feature is teh bass Contour Knob. This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!
