About the Guitar:
The Albert Lee Model was originally designed in 1987 by Ernie Ball as a prototype instrument featuring a radical new angular body. Well known musician Albert Lee tried the guitar and instantly became attached to it. It became his main axe on the stage and in the studio. In 1993 Ernie Ball began offering the guitar to the public as the Albert Lee Signature model with a pinkburst finish, three Seymour Duncan single coils, a maple neck and a Music Man standard bridge. In 1996, the Albert Lee line was broadened to include new colors and an optional Music Man vintage tremolo.
