This is a unique instrument. Charlie Musselwhite is a well known American blues-harp player and bandleader, one of the non-black bluesmen who came to prominence in the early 1960s, along with Mike Bloomfield and Paul Butterfield.
Nevertheless this is to forget that he is also an excellent guitar player and that during his solo performances he plays the guitar, the harp and signs as well.This guitar was used to record his album “In My Time” on the Alligator label and is show on the record cover. He also toured with this beautiful instrument. He had several modifications done to the instruments over the time, strap knob, ...., but the instruments remains otherwise perfectly authentic.
