About the Guitar:
This Gibson Les Paul Traditional, was Arlen Roth companion for the last two year on many projects.
The Gibson Les Paul Standard Traditional Electric Guitar earns its name thanks to the traditional features you expect in a Les Paul guitar: mahogany body, set neck with rounded '50s profile, maple top, and a pair of Gibson's '57 Classic humbucker pickups. One significant, yet not-so-traditional improvement: the neck is analyzed by Gibson's Plek machine. Using computer precision Gibson Plek files the frets and cuts slots in the nut to an accuracy of a hundredth of a millimeter for optimal action and intonation without string buzzing.
Arlen used it on the new "Thank You Les" a Les Paul Tribute album by Lou Pallo, Les' sideman for many years, for "Mr. Sandman" and "Vaya Con Dios", which Lexie Roth, his daughter, sang. It is also featured in many clips and pics of Arlen using it with Les Paul Trio and his band. It's also all over his new 'All Tricked Out!" album too! Arlen had the guitar signed by Lou Pallo. A fantastic guitar!
