About the Guitar:
These Arlen Roth Signature (Standard and Deluxe (with the flames)) Hot Licks Guitars were modelled after Arlen Roth's original "flame guitar", a Warmoth (with Barden pickups) assembled by Zion Guitars (see our TYS collection for the original). This Hot Lick brand guitar was one of the original ones that Bill Lawrence had made for Arlen Roth.
This was one of the few that Arlen Roth owned himself over the years. For long years this guitar was equipped with a MacKenzie Tele string puller, which has been removed. The pickups had given up in the meantime and were replaced by Fender Custom Shop 51 Nocaster pickups, giving this guitar a second life.
