Terry C. McInturff - Taurus, Tree Of Life (25th Anniversary), Prototype

This is the first prototype of the Tree of Life Taurus guitar and the first guitar of the 25th Anniversary series. Although the true origin of the "Tree of Life" inlay pattern is lost in time, it's a fact that many versions of this incredible inlay have been occasionally featured on the rarest violins, mandolins, banjos and guitars of the last 150 years. Terry McInturff's version of the "Tree of Life" inlay is comprised of well over 60 pieces of green abalone, paua shell, white mother of pearl and yellow mother of pearl... painstakingly inlaid by hand into the worlds finest gaboon ebony wood. The TCM Taurus Tree of Life model combines the best woods and craftsmanship of the TCM Taurus Custom with historic, exquisite Tree of Life artwork. The guitar is shown on the TCM website.
