About the Builder:
By 1995, Henry Vaccaro owned the Kramer brand; in addition, he was the only one of the original partners interested in continuing in the guitar business. He tried one last time to produce Kramer guitars from surplus parts, in the Neptune plant, but only a few hundred were made. Henry Vaccaro started making aluminum-necked guitars under the name Vaccaro Guitars, but that, too, was short-lived.
Vaccaro Guitar Co. had acquired the patent of the original Kramer V-neck design. Henry Vaccaro as one of the original founders of Kramer Guitars continued to adapt and improve the design.
Musicians like Edge from U2 and Kid Rock can be seen playing these instruments!
About the Guitar:
The Genration X has has two coil and one humbucker Vaccaro pickups with a coil tap and has the patented aluminum neck with a tuning fork shaped headstock. The aluminum neck is covered in wood and has a rosewood fretboard with 22 large frets. The guitar has a Vaccaro Tremolo in the Bigsby style.
On this guitar there is plenty of electronics on board to make this guitar a real player!
Unfortunately Vaccaro is no more.
