About this Guitar:
This guitar is the last Gibson Les Paul Hubert Sumlin acquired. In 2004, Keith Richard gave Hubert money so he could buy a guitar and he went to the Guitar Center of Totawa, where he picked up this Les Paul Gold Top. He used this guitar intensively until it became too heavy for him to hold. It was then transformed into a tribute to him and many people signed it to him, such as Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Taj Mahal, Hart and Kreutzman of the Dead, Levon Helm, Kim Wilson (Thunderbirds), Wavy Gravy, Steve Kimmock and more...
The guitar was, among others, used on Kenny Wayne Shepherd performance with Hubert Sumlin at Guitar Center's King of the Blues, 2007.
A great piece of rock ’n’ Roll history from one of the greatest Blues guitar player!$
